Bend down and see if you can see to much skin or cleavage down your shirt. Then place your thumb on your clavical (the shelf next to your neck, sort of) and let your hand hang down. Keep your fingers together. There should be fabric underneath the pinky. Solution: Wear a modest tank top underneath. Just because you're wearing a regular tank top under a low-cut shirt doesn't mean you're modest. Tank-tops are often low, too.
